The 34-year-old joined the Turkish club on a free transfer and will now be hoping to use his experience and goalscoring ability to help his new side challenge for the Turkish Super Lig title.
Yan Diamonde
RB Leipzig – Real Madrid
Yan Diamonde has completed his transfer from RB Leipzig in Germany to Spanish giants Real Madrid for a fee in the region of £125 million, making him the most expensive African player in football history. The huge transfer fee highlights just how highly the young forward is regarded despite having limited senior experience.
Despite featuring in just 46 senior club games, the talent that Diamonde possesses is clear, and the 19-year-old will now have the opportunity to learn from some of the biggest names in world football. Playing alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior could accelerate his development as he looks to establish himself at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Bazoumana Touré
Hoffenheim – Newcastle United
It has been a busy transfer window for Newcastle United when it comes to both outgoings and signings, with Ivory Coast forward Bazoumana Touré among their headline additions. The 20-year-old winger impressed in Germany and has now earned the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League.

After being relegated with the Foxes to League 1 last term, a move was always likely for Fatawu as he looked to continue his career at the highest level.
The 22-year-old has a bright future ahead of him and had plenty of interest in his services. Fatawu eventually signed for Ipswich for a fee in the region of £20 million on a five-year deal, giving him the chance to establish himself in the Premier League and showcase his talent on the biggest stage.
Mamadou Sangaré
Lens – Brentford
24-year-old midfielder Mamadou Sangaré recently completed a move to Premier League outfit Brentford for a club-record fee from Ligue 1 side Lens. Following an impressive debut campaign in France, Sangaré attracted plenty of interest after scoring three goals and providing three assists in 33 appearances last season.
Sangaré was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season and was also recognised as the best African player in the French top flight. His move to Brentford now gives him the chance to take his career to another level, with the midfielder set to test himself against some of the best players in the Premier League.
