Domestic football is back across Europe’s top leagues, and I’m here to bring you my outright betting predictions for the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga. From the title race to the relegation battle, there are plenty of markets to get involved in ahead of the new 2026/27 season.
I’ll be looking at some of the biggest outright markets, including league winners, top goalscorers, most assists and which teams I think could be relegated from each division. With plenty of value to find before a ball is kicked, these are my picks for the season ahead.
Be sure to keep an eye out for my weekly football betting predictions throughout the 2026/27 season. I’ll be providing an accumulator and a Bet Builder every week, alongside in depth analysis to explain my selections and the reasons behind each pick.
Premier League
- Outright Winner: Arsenal @ 2.50
- Top Goalscorer: Erling Haaland @ 1.66
- Most Assists: Bruno Fernandes @ 3.25
- Relegation: Ipswich Town @ 1.65
My first pick in the Premier League is who I think will win the title, and I believe Arsenal will go back to back. They have strengthened from last season by signing rising star Christos Tzolis and also one of the best midfielders in the league last term, Bruno Guimaraes.
I’m also expecting last season’s standout performers to continue their impressive form, with Haaland my pick for the Premier League Golden Boot and Bruno Fernandes to finish top for assists. Haaland scored five more goals than anyone else last season, while Fernandes recorded nine more assists than his nearest rival, making both players difficult to look past in their respective markets.
La Liga
- Outright Winner: Real Madrid @ 2.19
- Top Goalscorer: Kylian Mbappe @ 1.57
- Most Assists: Lamine Yamal @ 2.75
- Relegation: Levante UD @ 2.75
Next up is La Liga, where I’m going against last season’s champions Barcelona and backing Real Madrid to reclaim the Spanish title. I believe the recruitment made by Jose Mourinho, including recent World Cup winner Marc Cucurella and serial trophy winner Bernardo Silva, could give Madrid the edge over their rivals in what should be another fascinating title race.
At the other end of the table, I’m backing Levante UD for relegation. They survived last season only on head-to-head results after finishing level on points with Mallorca, who were relegated. With such fine margins separating them from the drop last term, I believe the odds of 2.75 offer plenty of value for Levante to return to the second tier.
Serie A
- Outright Winner: Inter Milan @ 2.00
- Relegation: AC Monza @ 1.57
- Relegation: US Lecce @ 1.83
- Best Finishing Position AC Milan vs AS Roma : AS Roma @ 1.90
Next up is Serie A, where there are some appealing outright betting markets to explore. Inter dominated the league last season, eventually finishing 11 points clear at the top, and I’m backing them to retain the Scudetto. I’m also expecting Lecce to be relegated after they narrowly avoided the drop last season, while newly promoted Monza could struggle to bridge the quality gap from Serie B and go straight back down.
Another interesting pre-season market is choosing which of two teams will finish higher in the table. For this selection, I’m backing AS Roma to finish above AC Milan. Roma ended last campaign in excellent form, winning their final five matches, while Milan struggled towards the end of the season and ranked down in 17th in the form guide, winning just one of their final five games.
Bundesliga
- Outright Winner: Bayern Munich @ 1.12
- Top Goalscorer: Harry Kane @ 1.50
- Winner Without Bayern Munich: Borussia Dortmund @ 2.50
- Relegation: SC Paderborn 07 @ 2.10
Finally, we head to the Bundesliga, where I’m confident that Bayern Munich will once again be crowned champions. Bayern have won the German title in 13 of the last 14 seasons, highlighting their remarkable dominance, and I’m expecting more of the same in 2026/27. With that in mind, Harry Kane is also my pick to retain the Bundesliga Golden Boot after scoring 36 goals in 31 appearances last season.
There’s also another interesting market available at Guinee Games, allowing you to back a team to finish top without a specific club involved. In this market, I’m backing Borussia Dortmund to finish as the best team excluding Bayern Munich. Dortmund finished second last season, eight points clear of third place, so I’m expecting them to remain the leading challenger to Bayern once again.
