Mr Predictor’s Best World Cup Betting Tips: 4-Fold Accumulator & Uruguay v Spain Bet Builder

I’m back again with my Matchday Two World Cup betting tips, and this week I’m determined to find you a winner. Last week we came agonisingly close, needing only Germany to win the first half to land a huge 15.27 accumulator, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be.

I’ve spent more time analysing the previous fixtures, looking closely at team form, trends, and standout performances to identify the best value opportunities. After digging into the numbers, I’ve picked out a high-value 4-fold accumulator for the upcoming World Cup fixtures.

We were also incredibly close with last week’s Bet Builder. All we needed was a Jamal Musiala goal for the bonus bet to land. To make matters worse, Denis Undav, who replaced Musiala, went on to score. This week I’m back for revenge, and I’ve selected a Bet Builder for the crucial Uruguay v Spain clash.

World Cup 4-Fold Accumulator

  • Spain Halftime / Fulltime @ 1.99
  • Egypt v Iran Over (1.5) Goals @ 1.53
  • England to win both halves @ 2.15
  • Argentina to win both halves  @ 2.30

Overall 4-fold accumulator odds: 15.06

Odds accurate as of the time of publication.

Spain Halftime / Fulltime @ 1.99

My first selection comes in the Uruguay v Spain match, and I’m expecting a comfortable victory for Lamine Yamal and co. After a slightly shaky start to the tournament, Spain responded in style with a dominant 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in their second fixture. Lamine Yamal looked dangerous throughout and made a huge impact despite only playing one half.

Meanwhile, Uruguay have drawn both of their opening matches against Cape Verde and Saudi Arabia, two sides considerably weaker than Spain. Against one of the tournament favourites, I expect Spain’s quality to shine through. I see strong value in backing Spain to lead at halftime, and go on to secure the win.

Egypt v Iran Over (1.5) Goals @ 1.53

Next, we head to Group G, where first-place Egypt face second-place Iran in a match that could prove crucial in deciding the group standings. I’m expecting goals in this one, with Over 1.5 Goals looking like a strong play based on both teams’ performances so far.

Over 1.5 goals has landed in both of Egypt’s matches, including a fixture that produced four goals. Although Iran played out a 0-0 draw with Belgium, they were involved in a much more open contest against New Zealand, which ended 2-2.. With plenty on the line, both teams should look to attack, making Over 1.5 goals a sensible selection.

England to win both halves @ 2.15

England face Panama in their final group-stage clash, and it’s hard to look beyond a comfortable England victory. After being held to a draw in their previous outing, the Three Lions will be determined to finish their group-stage campaign on a high and stamp their authority on the group by securing top spot.

With a win needed to guarantee first place, Thomas Tuchel is unlikely to rotate heavily or rest key players. Against a Panama side already eliminated from the tournament, this sets up as a potentially one-sided contest with goals on the cards. With that in mind, there looks to be strong value in backing England to win both halves.

Argentina to win both halves  @ 2.30

My final pick of Matchday Two comes from Jordan v Argentina, and it’s hard to see this going any other way. Argentina have looked dominant so far, with Lionel Messi scoring all five of their goals and leading from the front in impressive fashion.

They’ve won both halves in each of their opening two matches while keeping clean sheets in both games. Jordan, on the other hand, have struggled throughout the tournament, losing both matches and conceding five goals. With Argentina in such strong form, I see excellent value in backing them to win both halves once again.
