Senegal to Win Both Halves @ 2.25
Tournament heavyweights Senegal take on Sudan in the AFCON Round of 16. The gulf in quality between the two sides is hard to ignore. Senegal finished their group strongly, recording two wins and a draw. Whereas Sudan progressed as one of the four best third-placed teams.
Senegal have already shown their ability to dominate matches from start to finish, winning both halves in two of their three group games. Given their consistency and control in possession, there looks to be strong value in backing Senegal to once again win both halves.
Cameroon to Win @ 2.45
Cameroon arrive in the knockout stages unbeaten from the group phase and will face South Africa for a place in the quarter-finals. The Indomitable Lions impressed early in the competition, winning two matches and earning a draw against the reigning champions.
South Africa, meanwhile, edged two narrow victories and suffered defeat to Egypt. With greater experience and quality across the pitch, Cameroon should have enough to see off South Africa and progress.
Egypt to Win @ 1.48
Egypt topped their group after going unbeaten in all three matches and now take on Benin in the Round of 16. Benin did well to scrape through as one of the best third-placed sides, but this represents a significant step up in class.
Egypt have looked solid throughout the tournament, with Mohamed Salah leading the line.They should have the quality and composure required to book their place in the quarter-finals.
Algeria v DR Congo – Both Teams to Score: Yes @ 2.14
One of the standout ties of the Round of 16 sees Algeria face DR Congo in what promises to be an entertaining contest. Algeria were impressive in the group stage, scoring seven goals. This was the second-highest tally in the competition so far.
DR Congo also caught the eye, winning two matches and earning a credible draw against a strong Senegal side. With attacking quality on both sides, there appears to be excellent value in backing both teams to find the net.
