It was a painful night for Manchester City on Tuesday, as their draw with Bournemouth officially handed the Premier League title to Arsenal. Aston Villa, on the other hand, have struggled to find consistency at a crucial stage of the season, managing just one win from their previous four Premier League outings. City will be desperate to respond in the right way after their title hopes came to an end, and I expect them to sign off with an emphatic performance. With that in mind, the handicap market stands out as offering excellent value on the visitors.
Sunderland v Chelsea – Over (2.5) Goals @ 1.76
Chelsea head to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland in a match where both teams still have plenty to play for. European qualification remains a possibility, meaning both sides should approach this game with attacking intent.
That pressure and urgency could lead to an open contest with plenty of chances. The reverse fixture earlier this season finished 2-1, and another high-scoring encounter looks likely here.
AFC Bournemouth to win @ 2.08
My final Premier League betting tip for the season comes from Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth. Both teams have picked up positive results recently, but Bournemouth have been one of the division’s form sides and currently sit third in the recent form table.
Forest have endured a disappointing campaign and head into the final day with little to play for in 16th place. Bournemouth, however, are still pushing for European qualification, and with motivation firmly on their side, they look well placed to secure all three points.
